Text Box: Crossroads’ Turning Points, Inc. is proud to announce that co-occurring services are now being provided in all of our treatment programs. These services address both substance abuse and mental health issues in an integrated manner during the course of treatment. “It is important to address both substance abuse and mental health issues in order to effectively stabilize the client. By offering integrated services, we negate the possibility of the client  ‘falling through the cracks’ of the treatment system,” according to Christina Leonard LPC, LAC NCC Co-Occurring Coordinator.

“I want to thank you for this program. I am amazed that not only do you get substance abuse treatment; I also received mental counseling, anger management, and domestic violence classes as well. This thirty days has been such a good learning experience for me. I have learned about why people get angry and how substance abuse has to do with the anger. I’ve learned useful information about mental disorders that I never knew about, and the dangers of how self-medicating is so dangerous especially with mental disorders.”
